• Somerset Chiropractic makes use of a virtual receptionist/ switch board. These are real people that are available to take care of all your admin needs however they are not physically at the practice. They work remotely and are available telephonically from 8am until 5pm daily. Our head receptionist is Chantelle and you can request to speak to her should you have any specific questions. All calls are recorded and logged and all messages are directly conveyed to Dr Cawood. You are welcome to request to speak to Dr Cawood and if available the call will be transferred to her. If she is unavailable a message will be taken. 

• When entering the reception, kindly ring the doorbell to the left of the security gate. Dr Cawood will open up for you and we request that you wait in the reception area until your dedicated time slot. The Reception is on your immediate left-hand side as you enter the building. There is a large lounge area with couches where you can wait for your appointment time slot. Dr Cawood will then assist you with admin and sanitization and COVID-19 screening prior to your treatment. 

• Due to COVID-19 we request that you wait in your car rather than our reception in order to minimise any interaction between patients and only come in 5 min prior to your appointment. 

 • We have very specific COVID-19 protocol in place and kindly note that you will be expected to comply with the rules that have been set out for us by the AHPCSA. Please read about our COVID-19 protocol and what may be expected of you when coming in for treatment. 

 • Consultations are via appointment only. No walk-ins will be accepted. 

• Payment will be accepted directly after the treatment. We have a speedpoint available for card payments. Somerset Chiropractic will then supply you with a detailed statement that you can use to reimburse funds from your medical aid. 

 • Currently Dr Cawood is only available in the mornings as she is currently dedicated to her young family. Our affiliate practice, Elite Chiropractic Stellenbosch has both morning and afternoon slots available. You can ask our reception about Elite Chiropractic Stellenbosch and they may be able to assist you in booking an appointment in Stellenbosch with Dr Stefan Eloff.
